Olivier Gandon
Partner, Family Office and Asset ManagementOlivier was born in 1970 in Saint-Malo (France), graduated from the University of Paris Dauphine. He left France in 1994 to a University in South Africa where he started his career with Societe Generale in corporate banking and securities lending (Cap Town). Then in 1997, he moved to London, hired by Morgan Stanley Trust Company as a trader on the Forex desk. In 2000, following a three year period, watching charts on screens, in London and Hong Kong, Olivier made a major change to his career, moving to the private banking area in Luxembourg for Merrill Lynch. Following the collapse of the tech bubble in 2002, he moved to Monaco with his previous manager setting up a wealth management department for CITCO, specialized in hedge funds. In 2003, he was hired as a private banker in Marseille for “Meeschaert Gestion Privée”. He passed the Master in “Gestion de Patrimoine” of Clermont-Ferrand with honors in 2004 and joined “Opera Wealth Management” in 2009. In the group, Olivier focuses on funds selection, Family Office and Wealth Planning.
